Reverse description A stylized schematic representation of a church or temple facade occupies the center of the coin, depicted with a triangular gabled roof surmounted by a cross, flanked by towers or columns, and showing architectural details of the doorway below. The building is rendered in the flat, linear Ottonian style characteristic of imperial ecclesiastical coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the architectural motif, naming Adelaide, the co-regent empress.
