Obverse description Central voided cross dividing the field into four quarters, each containing a pellet, all enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The cross arms extend to the beaded border, lending a bold, architecturally structured appearance characteristic of Ottonian coinage. A Latin imperial legend encircles the design between the beaded circle and the outer periphery of the flan.
