Obverse description Two standing figures facing one another within a beaded inner circle, each figure rendered in a flat, stylized Romanesque manner typical of Bohemian deniers of the early twelfth century. The figures appear to be joined at or near the center, possibly depicting a ruler and a bishop or saint in a gesture of investiture or presentation. A small cross or staff element is visible between the two figures. The field surrounding the central device is plain, with scattered pellets or stars visible beyond the beaded border near the irregular coin edge.
