| Obverse description | Frontal bust of a crowned ruler within a beaded inner circle, the face rendered in schematic Romanesque style with a tiered crown. The figure is seated upon a throne, the throne flanked by two vertical sceptre-like elements with globes at their tops. A single pellet appears in the lower register of the throne, and additional pellet ornaments flank the central motif. A partial Latin legend runs along the outer border. |
