Obverse description Frontal bust of a crowned ruler within a beaded inner circle, the face rendered in schematic Romanesque style with a tiered crown. The figure is seated upon a throne, the throne flanked by two vertical sceptre-like elements with globes at their tops. A single pellet appears in the lower register of the throne, and additional pellet ornaments flank the central motif. A partial Latin legend runs along the outer border.

Reverse description Full-length frontal figure of a warrior or princely duke standing within a beaded inner circle, depicted in chain armour with a large shield held to the left side and a lance or banner staff raised in the right hand. The face is rendered in a schematic Romanesque manner. A partial Latin legend surrounds the figure along the outer border, typical of Bohemian-Moravian denier coinage of the early twelfth century.
