| Description de l’avers | Central field features the ancient shield of Burgundy — a pointed heater-shaped escutcheon charged with a bend sinister composed of diagonal crossing lines, rendered in a bold, archaic hammered style. The shield is depicted in full view, occupying the majority of the coin's surface, with flanking legend characters visible at the periphery. The surrounding circular legend reads ODO COMES, identifying the issuer as Count Odo. The flan is irregular and slightly broader than the die, typical of mid-13th century French feudal coinage.
