| Obverse description | Central field features the ancient shield of Burgundy — a pointed heater-shaped escutcheon charged with a bend sinister composed of diagonal crossing lines, rendered in a bold, archaic hammered style. The shield is depicted in full view, occupying the majority of the coin's surface, with flanking legend characters visible at the periphery.
