Obverse description Hammered silver denier of irregular round flan. The obverse presents a central horizontal bar dividing the field, with an ornate architectural or monogram device above, flanked by annulets and small cross terminals. Concentric arched lines frame the central motif, evoking a stylized church façade or gate, characteristic of late 11th-century Low Countries coinage. The surrounding circular legend reads IN ☩ ANTVRPA CIVITATE, inscribed in crude Romanesque capitals along the inner border, with a beaded outer rim partially visible.
