Obverse description Stylized architectural facade depicting a church or cathedral facade in the Ottonian tradition, rendered in high relief with a central portal flanked by towers or columns, surmounted by a prominent gabled roof. The structure is characteristic of early medieval ecclesiastical representations associated with the Magdeburg archbishopric. The field surrounding the building is plain, and the flan is irregular, as typical of hammered coinage of this period. No legible legend is present on this face.
