背面描述	The reverse presents the mint city name TOLOSA CIVITAS, meaning 'City of Toulouse,' arranged in three horizontal lines across the field, a layout characteristic of Carolingian civic deniers. The lettering is rendered in bold, angular Carolingian capitals and fills the flan broadly. A beaded border runs along the entire inner circumference of the coin, framing the inscribed field. The die-cutting is vigorous if somewhat irregular, consistent with hammered workshop production of the early ninth century. This reverse type follows the standard Carolingian formula identifying the issuing mint by its Latin city name.
