| Beschrijving voorzijde | Frontal bust of the ruler depicted in a schematic, Romanesque style, the face rendered with a broad flat visage and pellet eyes, wearing a beaded necklace or collar, flanked to the left by a long vertical sceptre with a cross-hatched shaft. To the right of the bust appears a large circular annulet motif. The entire design is executed in the archaic, stylised manner characteristic of early Piast dynasty bracteate-related coinage, with an irregular beaded or toothed border encircling the field. |
