Obverse description Central field features a pointed shield or escutcheon motif flanked on either side by stylized foliate or floral elements, possibly representing plant stems or palm fronds. Above the shield, a crowned or crested device is visible, rendered in the crude, high-relief style typical of 12th-century Hungarian hammered coinage. The surrounding legend, partially legible, reads IADISIAU EE, referencing King László II. The coin's edge is bordered by a beaded or toothed rim characteristic of medieval Hungarian deniers. The overall design is boldly struck but irregular in flan shape, consistent with hand-hammered production.
