Additional information

The attribution here is almost certainly in error, or represents a posthumous or continuation issue — Charles I of Aragon (Charles V, Holy Roman Emperor) abdicated in 1556, and the minting of coinage in his name across Aragonese territories continued through transitional dies that straddled his reign and that of Philip II. Calicó 89 falls within this contested attribution zone, where the regnal name on the die no longer matched the living monarch.
