| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field displays a cross pattée or plain cross in low relief, a standard device employed on feudal deniers of this era. The cross divides the field into four quadrants, each plain, with the design struck on an uneven flan showing typical hammered irregularities. A surrounding Latin legend reads +VIDOCINENSIS, identifying the county of Vendôme as the issuing authority. The surface presents a dark brown to black billon patina with traces of green oxidation.
