| Obverse description | A margrave depicted in profile riding a horse to the left, holding a falcon in his raised left hand. The equestrian figure is rendered in the crude, flat relief typical of mid-13th century Brandenburg bracteate-influenced pfennig coinage. The horse and rider fill the central field with no surrounding legend. The coin exhibits an irregular flan edge characteristic of hand-struck hammered coinage of the period. |
