Beschrijving keerzijde The reverse displays a highly stylized and schematically rendered heraldic composition in low relief. The upper portion features a latticed or cross-hatched rectangular panel, likely a highly abstracted representation of a gate or architectural element, possibly derived from the Columns of Gediminas dynastic symbol. Below this panel, a roughly modeled quadruped, possibly a bear or ox, is depicted in profile facing left. The overall execution is characteristic of the crude hammered technique employed at the Vilnius Mint during this early period of Lithuanian coinage.
