Obverse description Façade of a stylized cathedral or episcopal seat depicted frontally between two flanking towers, rendered in a crude Gothic architectural style characteristic of medieval billon coinage. A rosette ornament appears in the lower field beneath the central structure. The design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, with the legend SEDES LAVSNS running along the outer periphery in uncial lettering.
