| Obverse description | Central field depicts two standing figures facing one another, separated by a tall cross with globular terminals and a smaller crosslet at the top, rendered in the flat, schematic style characteristic of early Bohemian deniers. The figure to the left holds a staff or sceptre, while the figure to the right appears in a similar frontal posture. The surrounding Latin legend IAROMIRVS runs along the outer border of the irregularly shaped flan, partially visible due to weak striking at the edges. The overall composition reflects the Ottonian artistic influence prevalent in Central European coinage of the early eleventh century. |
