Obverse description A marten passant to the left occupies the central field, with a six-pointed star positioned above and a second star below the animal. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded inner circle, outside of which runs the circumferential legend. The overall style is characteristic of medieval Slavonian hammered coinage, with the marten serving as the heraldic emblem of the province.
