| Reverse description | A bold double-barred (patriarchal) cross dominates the central field, dividing the design into four quadrants. In the upper-left quadrant a six-pointed star is present, in the upper-right a crescent moon with a small star, and in the lower quadrants two crowned royal heads face outward symmetrically, representing the king and his consort or co-ruler. Small bird or floral elements appear at the foot of the cross shaft. The whole is framed within a beaded border with no additional legend, consistent with the Slavonian denier series of Béla IV. |
