| Obverse description | Draped bust of Philip III facing right, wearing a ruffled collar characteristic of early 17th-century Castilian royal portraiture, with a fleur-de-lis device positioned either in front of or in the mouth of the effigy depending on the variety. The portrait is rendered in low relief typical of hammered municipal coinage. A circular Latin legend surrounds the bust within the coin's irregular flan. |

| Reverse description | Central field displays the arms of Vic set within a lozenge-shaped (diamond) shield, divided into four quarters, each bearing a cross pattée, consistent with the traditional heraldic device of the city of Vic. The shield is rendered in low hammered relief on an irregular flan. A circular Latin legend surrounding the central device includes the mint name VICEN and the date 1611, the original die date reused for this 1641 emergency issue. |
