| Beschrijving keerzijde | A bold pattée-style cross occupies the central field, rendered in strong relief with slightly splayed arms, a hallmark of medieval Lotharingian coinage. The cross divides the reverse into four quadrants, each containing pellet ornaments forming an inner border around the design. A partial circumscription in Latin runs along the outer border of the irregular flan, partially visible due to the off-center striking. The overall style reflects the immobilized type derived from Capetian prototypes, common to the County of Bar during the tenth through twelfth centuries. |
