Obverse description Laureate head of a deity facing left, rendered in the stylized Celtic idiom with flowing, deeply engraved wavy hair and bold facial features. The effigy displays prominent almond-shaped eye, strong jaw, and naturalistic modeling of the cheek and brow typical of late Gaulish coinage. The hair is arranged in thick, sinuous locks radiating from the crown, embellished with leaf-like elements suggestive of a laurel wreath. The portrait is set within a beaded circle border, occupying most of the flan.
