Obverse description Frontal bust of Archbishop Hermann III, rendered in the Romanesque style typical of late 11th-century Rhenish coinage, positioned centrally within a beaded inner circle. The effigy displays a schematic face with large eyes and a wide nose, surmounted by a jewelled or beaded mitre-like crown with a prominent central element. The archbishop's vestments are indicated by stylized drapery folds below the bust, with a crozier or staff visible to the left. The Latin legend encircles the bust between the beaded inner circle and the irregular flan edge.
