| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse depicts a crowned rider in profile facing right, seated on horseback in a schematic, flat relief characteristic of early medieval hammered coinage. The figure of the emperor, identified as Henry V, is rendered in a stylized manner typical of Salian-era Rhenish deniers, with the crown visible above the head and the horse's body occupying the lower portion of the field. The surrounding legend reads HEINRICS REX, identifying the issuer as King Henry. The flan is irregular and slightly uneven, as is standard for hand-struck silver pennies of this period.
