Obverse description Facing crowned bust of Henry V in high relief, depicted in a rigid, Romanesque style characteristic of early 12th-century imperial coinage. The emperor is shown wearing a tall crown adorned with pendilia, his face rendered frontally with stylized features. In his right hand he holds a scepter surmounted by a fleur-de-lis, and in his left a scepter topped with a crosslet. The bust is enclosed within a beaded border.
