Obverse description Facing bust of Emperor Henry IV at center, depicted in a stylized Romanesque manner wearing a crown and royal vestments with a beaded necklace or collar detail. The effigy is rendered in low relief with linear engraving typical of 11th-century Rhenish hammered coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the portrait, itself enclosed within a beaded outer border along the coin's periphery. The legend + HEINRICHVS runs around the field between the two beaded circles.
