Reverse description A stylized church facade constructed entirely from letters, set within a beaded border. The architectural composition features a triangular gable surmounting a horizontal entablature supported by pillar-like letter forms, with the mintmaster's initials worked into the design. The corners of the cross-like arrangement contain a triangle, a ring, a triangle, and three dots as decorative elements. The whole composition is typical of the Regensburg Letterkirche coinage type of the Ottonian period.
