Obverse description Crowned bust of Emperor Henry II facing right, rendered in a stylized Ottonian manner with visible facial features including a beard. The royal crown is depicted with decorative pellets along its upper edge. The legend is distributed in the field to either side of the effigy, with individual letters arranged around the bust.
