| Obverse description | Central field features a sickle accompanied by a six-pointed star, both rendered in low relief characteristic of feudal billon coinage. The devices are enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The surrounding legend reads ✠ COMЄS ЄRVЄVS (Count Harvey), separated from the central motif by the inner beaded border. The lettering is executed in Lombardic-style capitals typical of early 13th-century French feudal issues. The flan is irregular and slightly convex, consistent with hand-hammered production. |
