Obverse description Central plain cross with four pellets positioned close to the intersection, dividing the field into quadrants. Each quadrant is decorated with wedge-shaped and linear ornamental elements radiating outward from the cross. The overall design is geometric and non-figural, characteristic of the anonymous hammered deniers of the Árpád dynasty. The flan is irregular and the surfaces display the typical shallow relief of primitive Hungarian medieval coinage. No legend or inscription is present.
