Obverse description A bold cross pattée occupies the central field, its arms extending toward the coin's periphery and terminating in decorative wedge-shaped finials. Four smaller cross pattée motifs are positioned in each quadrant between the arms of the central cross, with circular pellets filling the remaining interstices. The design is executed in a flat, archaic hammered style typical of early medieval Hungarian coinage, with no legend present.

Reverse description The reverse features a plain inner circle enclosing a cluster of wedge-shaped motifs arranged to form a stylized star or cross pattern at the center. The field outside the inner circle is striated with horizontal lines, interspersed with small pellets and wedge ornaments scattered around the periphery. The composition is aniconic and devoid of any inscription, consistent with the anonymous hammered deniers of the Árpád-dynasty period.
