正面描述 Facing bust of Emperor Frederick II depicted in a highly stylized, archaic manner, wearing an imperial crown adorned with fleur-de-lis-like projections. The emperor is shown in bust form with schematic facial features including a pronounced eye and simplified drapery at the shoulders. Small ornamental devices, possibly a cross or floral motif, flank the bust to the right within the irregular flan. The overall design is executed in the characteristic flat, linear style of early 13th-century German bracteate and pfennig coinage. No legend is present; the design occupies the full field of the coin.

背面描述 The reverse displays a mirrored or incuse impression of the obverse bust, as is typical of thinly struck hammered pfennigs of this period, where the obverse die impression bleeds through to the reverse. The facing crowned bust is faintly discernible in negative relief, with the irregular scalloped edge of the flan clearly visible. No independent reverse design or legend is present; the surface shows the characteristic flow lines and die pressure marks associated with medieval German hammered coinage.
