| 表面の説明 | Central design featuring a stylized eagle displayed within a beaded inner circle, its head rendered in a highly schematic, almost mask-like fashion with prominent round eyes, and its wings and talons spread outward in a bold, archaic manner characteristic of early 13th-century Franconian bracteate coinage. The body of the eagle is flanked by its outstretched wings, with the overall composition enclosed within a plain raised border. Small cross ornaments appear at intervals around the periphery of the irregular flan. The execution is typical of the provincial Nuremberg mint under Frederick II, combining heraldic formality with the crude, vigorous engraving style of the period. No legend is present on this type. |
