| 背面描述 | Within a beaded inner circle, the Virgin Mary (Madonna) is depicted crowned and in glory, without a radiate nimbus, standing and cradling the Christ Child in her left arm. The date appears at the close of the surrounding Latin legend, which invokes the Madonna as Patroness of Hungary. The composition reflects the Marian devotional tradition prominent on Hungarian coinage of the seventeenth century. |
