Obverse description Crowned draped bust of Ferdinand II facing left, rendered in late medieval Gothic style, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The king is depicted with long flowing hair beneath an open crown of fleurs-de-lis and cross pommée, with visible drapery at the shoulder. A circular Latin legend runs between the beaded inner circle and the toothed outer border of the flan.
