Obverse description Central field features a stylized bird figure, likely a dove or eagle, depicted in profile facing left within a beaded inner circle. The bird's wing and tail feathers are rendered in a bold, simplified early medieval style. The surrounding legend reads EMMA REGINA, identifying the issuing queen, separated by annulets or cross stops. The overall design is characteristic of Bohemian hammered coinage of the late tenth century, with an irregular flan and somewhat uneven strike.
