Emeric (Imre) ruled during one of the most fractious successions in Árpád dynasty history, his reign defined almost immediately by armed conflict with his brother Andrew, who mounted repeated challenges to the throne. That chronic instability — including periods where Andrew controlled substantial territory as a quasi-independent duke — almost certainly disrupted mint output, which may explain the relative scarcity of cleanly attributed pieces from this reign.
The ÉH#126 attribution places this firmly within the thin documentary record of Hungarian royal coinage before the monetary reforms of the thirteenth century.
