Obverse description Central field occupied by a displayed eagle of the Kingdom of Poland, with wings spread and head turned to the right, rendered in a bold, somewhat schematic late-medieval style. The eagle's breast features a small shield, and the talons are clearly articulated at the base of the design. The entire motif is enclosed within a beaded border that follows the irregular flan. No legend is present on this face.

Reverse description Central device depicts the heraldic arms of Elbląg: a divided shield bearing a Maltese cross in the upper half and two crossed fish (or anchors) in the lower half, separated by a horizontal bar. The shield is rendered in a compact, angular style characteristic of hammered late-medieval civic coinage. The design is surrounded by a beaded border consistent with the obverse, and no peripheral legend is present.
