正面描述 A stylized frontal head depicted beneath a gabled arch or chevron, with a lily motif at the apex; a bird is positioned to each side above the gable. The design is executed in a flat, schematic medieval style typical of early 13th-century Austrian bracteate-influenced pfennigs, with minimal relief and no surrounding legend.

附加信息

Eberhard II served as Archbishop of Salzburg from 1200 to 1246 — one of the longest episcopates of the medieval German church — and spent much of that tenure embroiled in the conflict between Emperor Frederick II and the papacy. He sided firmly with Rome, suffering excommunication and exile twice before his eventual reconciliation. The deniers struck under his authority reflect a period when Salzburg's mint output was closely tied to political survival rather than stable economic administration.

CNA A41 is among the more frequently cited types from his long reign, though attributing specific issues within the 1200–1246 range to precise decades remains unresolved in the literature.
