| Beschrijving voorzijde | Facing bust of the archbishop rendered in crude, bold relief, occupying the central field. The figure displays a stylized face with prominent features, flanked by small globules or pellets at either side of the head. A six-pointed star appears to the right in the field, while additional pellets are distributed around the bust. Below the bust, a row of short vertical strokes or dentils suggests a collar or vestment detail. The overall style is characteristic of Romanesque provincial die-cutting, with a flat, schematic treatment typical of mid-12th-century Friesach pfennigs. |
