Obverse description Frontal episcopal effigy depicted within a beaded inner circle, the bishop shown in schematic Ottonian style holding a crozier in the left hand and a cross in the right. The figure is rendered in a flat, stylized manner characteristic of late 11th-century Rhenish and Lower Lotharingian coinage. The surrounding legend reads CONRADVS, preceded by a cross pattée, identifying the issuing bishop. The overall composition is enclosed within a plain outer border.
