| 正面描述 | The obverse features a central cross pattée within a beaded inner circle, with a crescent in each of the four angles formed by the arms of the cross, a characteristic decorative motif of this Carolingian denier type. The surrounding field is occupied by the royal legend in large, bold capital letters arranged around the periphery. The entire design is enclosed within a plain outer border, typical of the hammered silver coinage of Charlemagne's monetary reform period. |
