Reverse description Central field depicts a crowned eagle displayed — the heraldic emblem of the Piast dynasty — enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The eagle is rendered in a stylised, archaic manner consistent with mid-14th-century Polish die-cutting. The surrounding legend in Gothic Latin characters reads KAZIMIRVS, identifying the issuing ruler Casimir III the Great. A cross patée appears at the top of the legend as a dividing mark, and the flan presents the irregular outline typical of hammered silver deniers of this period.
