Obverse description A stylized eagle displayed in the field, rendered in the primitive Romanesque manner characteristic of early Polish medieval bracteate-related coinage. The bird's wings are spread and finely striated to suggest feathering, with pellet ornaments visible at the wing tips and body. The design is executed in low relief on an irregular, thin silver flan typical of hammered medieval deniers, with no legend present.
