| Obverse description | Frontal bust of Archbishop Bruno of Bretten in pontifical vestments, facing slightly left, raising the right hand in benediction and holding a crosier in the left hand. The effigy is rendered in the Romanesque style characteristic of early 12th-century ecclesiastical coinage. The design is enclosed within a beaded border (grenetis), with the archiepiscopal legend distributed around the periphery of the field. |
