Obverse description Central field features a stylized anchor-like cross motif with a letter A positioned prominently at its center, flanked by two pellets at either side. The design is enclosed within a toothed inner circle, with a further outer border of toothed decoration. A Latin legend reading A BRACISLAV encircles the central device in the outer field, rendered in the irregular, angular letterforms characteristic of early medieval Bohemian and Moravian hammered coinage.
