| 背面描述 | Uniface bracteate; the reverse is blank, exhibiting the characteristic incuse mirror impression of the obverse design as a consequence of the single-die bracteate striking method. The surface is convex and shows natural flow lines and die stress marks consistent with hand-hammered production on a thin silver flan. |

Wenceslaus II ruled Moravia as margrave under the broader Přemyslid domain, and the bracteate coinage of this period reflects the fragmented minting authority typical of late 13th-century Bohemian lands, where local ecclesiastical and noble mints operated with considerable autonomy. Cach 1003 falls within a series struck across multiple workshops, making die attribution genuinely difficult and attribution to a single facility nearly impossible without provenance.
The bracteate format itself — a single-sided struck disc — was already declining in central Europe by 1300, rapidly being displaced by thicker double-sided pfennig coinage as monetary practices shifted westward from the Rhine into Moravia.
