| Beschrijving voorzijde | Uniface bracteate struck on a thin silver flan with an irregular raised rim. Central device depicts a frontal enthroned figure, presumed to be King Wenceslaus I, shown in regal posture with arms extended to either side, possibly holding regalia. The figure is rendered in high relief in the Romanesque style typical of Bohemian bracteates of the mid-13th century. The design is enclosed within a plain inner border, with the broad flat margin characteristic of bracteate coinage visible around the periphery. |
