| Opis awersu | Facing bust of the bishop Udalschalk of Eschenlohe rendered in low relief at center, wearing a mitre or episcopal crown, framed within a raised inner circle bordered by a ring of small pellets or beads. The surrounding field is decorated with a scalloped or lobate border of alternating arcs and pellets forming an ornate outer rim characteristic of South German bracteate coinage. The facial features are stylized in the Romanesque manner, with large almond-shaped eyes, a broad nose, and a simplified mouth. No legible inscription is present, the design relying entirely on the episcopal effigy for identification. |

| Opis rewersu | As a bracteate, this coin is struck from a single die on a thin flan, producing a mirror-image incuse impression of the obverse design on the reverse. The reverse therefore shows the negative relief of the bishop's bust and surrounding decorative border, appearing as a concave indentation corresponding precisely to the raised obverse design. No additional design elements or inscriptions are present on the reverse. |
